Amber Miller
Funeral Director
Amber was born and raised in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Robert and Linda Miller and grew up in rural Wisconsin with her older sister Amy. In school, Amber took part in talent shows, competed in book competitions, played league soccer, and was a member of the girl scouts. In high school, she was the secretary of her senior class student council and was a member of the band and choir programs and worked at a local bed and breakfast. After graduating from Oconomowoc High School in 2006, Amber attended the University of Minnesota where she took part in intramural sports and student activities. She graduated with the class of 2012, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from the Mortuary Science Program, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Society, and Environment, as well as a minor in Spanish Studies. While working on her degrees, she also spent four years as a nanny for four children.
In March of 2011, Amber started an internship at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home that has since developed into a full-time funeral director position. Throughout her time there, she has thoroughly enjoyed working with and helping families in the community.

In her free time, Amber enjoys taking advantage of her summers on the water at her family’s northern Wisconsin cabin, painting, playing club soccer, snow skiing, listening to music and attending concerts, and traveling to “warm places and tropical locations”.
