Lisa Benedict

Funeral Director

Lisa grew up on a dairy farm in Turtle Lake, WI and chose to become a funeral director herself, with admiration and respect for the compassion and professionalism she observed from her hometown funeral home. She attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree, graduating in 1999 from the University of Minnesota’s Program of Mortuary Science. It is there where she met her husband, Bill, who is also a licensed funeral director with the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes.

Lisa is a licensed funeral director in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.   She brings with her many years of experience and leadership caring for families as a funeral director in the Saint Paul area. Lisa enjoys working with the O’Connell Family, as they provide an exceptional level of personalized service. She is also proud to be part of a caring team of dedicated professionals. Outside of work, Lisa treasures every minute with her two sons, Marcus and Gavin. She enjoys cooking, shopping, scrapbooking, trips to the North Shore, being outdoors, a good cup of coffee and riding Harley with her husband, Bill. Lisa is also a proud Green Bay Packers fan, and has a pet Corgi named “Lambeau”.
