Here at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home we offer a wide array of funeral products and merchandise. Each location has a full selection room designed to meet the needs of every family. In these selection rooms, families will find a variety of caskets, vaults, urns and cremation products, memorial packages, and more.
Here is some information about our basic products:
Caskets
Caskets are made with a variety of materials and can come in many different styles. They can be made from inexpensive materials, such as pine, veneer or a composite of hardboard. Or they can be made from more expensive materials, such as different types of metals or more expensive woods. These caskets can also be personalized for your individual needs. All of the caskets come in variety of interior fabrics, with the most common including velvet or crepe. For those who desire a traditional funeral followed by a cremation – cremation caskets and rental caskets are available.
Vaults
Most cemeteries require that caskets be placed in an outer burial container. This is to protect the casket from the weight and pressures of the earth above. We offer a variety of vaults from those that meet the basic requirement of the cemeteries, to others that completely seal and are made with a variety of materials. You will see scale models of the vaults we offer in our selection rooms.
Urns
We have a selection of urns for use as permanent containers for cremated remains. We offer a wide variety of urns that come in many different materials, suitable for burial or as keepsakes for discreet placement in a home. Many of the urns can also be personalized with engraving, laser designs, or have an appliqué applied. Smaller urns or “token urns” and cremation jewelry can also be purchased for family members who wish to keep some of the cremains and bury the rest. We also carry urn vaults for cemeteries that require them.
Monuments
The staff at O’Connells can help families in the creation of a grave marker and monuments for the cemetery, park, woods, etc. We work with local companies to create beautiful stones, markers, benches and other fixtures that family and friends can enjoy forever.
Funeral merchandise doesn’t have to end with the basic products.

Flowers
If your family desires, our staff can help in ordering flowers for services.
Memorial Folders / Packages
This includes memorial folders and/or prayer cards, register books, and thank you cards. Custom folders can be done to add images of your loved one, family events, poems and more.
Keepsake Jewelery
Keepsake jewelry comes in all types and can have photos, fingerprints, or even some cremated remains added to them.
Memorial DVDs
The O’Connell’s staff can create meaningful and memorable DVDs from pictures that your family provides. Click here for more information
Life Gem Jewelery
Cremains can be made into diamonds for earrings, rings, necklaces, and more.
Memorial Photo Boards
These are printed posters of your loved one with a poem or note included.
Casket Panels
Families can bring in pictures of their loved one which will be scanned, enlarged, and printed on photo board. These go in the open lid of the casket to be viewed when the casket is open. If the family desires, the panel can be removed and framed for the family to keep after services.
Photo Stones
A photo of your loved one can be laminated into a glass rock for friends and family to keep.
Memory Bracelets
Names, dates, and messages can be put on custom bracelets for friends and family to wear in memory of their loved one.
