In Memory of Jeanette Warning

Jeanette Warning, age 68, of Woodbury, MN, died on February 16, 2012 after her courageous battle with cancer. Jeanette was born on March 1, 1943 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Stanley and Adele Kaskey. She grew up in Illinois and graduated from Proviso West High School. Jeanette worked as a mainframe computer operator at the Bedford Park, Illinois branch of 3M where she met Lyle Warning, another 3M employee. The two dated and on July 3, 1985 they were united in marriage in Chicago. Shortly after, both were transferred to 3M’s St. Paul branch and made their home in Hudson WI. Jeanette would retire from 3M in 1993.  In 2010, she and Lyle would move to Woodbury, MN.

Jeanette had many hobbies and activities. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Hudson and volunteered in her community. She loved to dance and spend time with neighbors, friends and especially her family. Her two granddaughters were her passion and as they grew up she continued to be a part of their lives. Jeanette was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, lover of music – listening to such groups as the Bee Gees and Doobie Brothers and enjoyed relaxing with jigsaw puzzles and reading.

Jeanette is survived by her: husband, Lyle, her sister Annie Eversz from Dallas, Texas,   granddaughters, Angie & Cristal Franco, brother-in-law, Joe Schroeder and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deborah Franco.

Services for Jeanette will be held at 3pm on Monday, February 20 at Bethel Lutheran Church, downtown Hudson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 1-3pm at the church. Memorials given will be donated to the Salvation Army. Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home – Hudson chapel. 715.386.3725
