In Memory of Ilene Dettmann (Palewicz)

Ilene Marie Dettmann (Palewicz), age 94, of Hudson, died on January 17, 2013 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.  Ilene was born to Paul and Helen (Milune) Palewicz on July 10,1918 in Knapp, Wisconsin.  She was united in marriage to Alvin Dettmann on January 24, 1941.  This marriage would be blessed with two sons, Darryl and Allan. 

Ilene is survived by her; sons, Darryl of Osage, KS and Allan (Diane) of Afton, MN; grandsons, Brett (Kim) and Dennis (Suzie); great-grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan and Madelyn; sister, Karen Grossaint of Hammond, WI, brother, Aaron of Glenwood City, WI and many other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her; parents, husband, Alvin, and sister, Deloris. 

Services for Ilene will be held privately.  Memorials can be given in her name to the Christian Community Home of Hudson.  Arrangements are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home – Hudson, WI.
