Marjorie J. Johnson, age 94 of Baldwin died peacefully February 4th, 2017 at the Baldwin Care Center. Marjorie was born on July 21, 1922 in Bangor, Wisconsin; the daughter of Walter and Josephine (Viner) Duncanson. She graduated high school in Lewiston, Minnesota, before attending Secretarial College in Winona, Minnesota. On July 8, 1941, she was united in marriage to H. Maynard Johnson at Brethren Church in Long Beach, California. This union would be blessed with three children.
She worked many years as a secretary for the Billy Graham Association. Marjorie was all about faith, family, and friends. She loved time spent playing the organ and singing in church choirs. She took pleasure in square dancing, and her travels to every continental state except Rhode Island. In quieter moments, she enjoyed a good book or doing handiwork; needlepoint, sewing, and crocheting. Her greatest joy came when surrounded by her family. She was so proud of her children and loved every minute with grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her children Steven (Lynette) Johnson, Linda (Bob) Stankovich; daughter-In-law Mary Ann Johnson; grandchildren Paul (Patty) Johnson, Matthew (Phaedra) Johnson, Joel (Jennifer) Johnson, Benjamin (Jen) Johnson, Tia (Jeff) Marks, Peter (Connie) Stankovich, Christine (Kevin) Mitchell, Michelle (Peter) Segal; 15 grandchildren; sisters-in-law Delores and Jeanne Duncanson. She is preceded in death by her husband H. Maynard; son Jerry; siblings Harold, Evelyn, Everett, David, Lloyd, Earl, and Robert.

Memorials honoring Marjorie may be directed to Adoray Hospice and the Baldwin Care Center; both gave Marjorie the greatest care. Funeral services and cremation entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin.
