Lora Mae Neumeier, of Stillwater, passed away at home on March 30, 2018 at the age of 95. She was born in Owatonna, Minnesota to Lucile and Everett Harsh. Lora is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, Karl E. Neumeier; sisters, Marilyn Farrar and Donna Lindsley; and son-in law, Robert Gunderson. She is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Larry) Wolf, Nancy Gunderson, and Mary (Jerry) Steinbrecher, grandchildren, Sara, Lisa, Lori, Keri, Jill, Kristi, and Scott; 13 great grandchildren; and nephew, Scott Lindsley.

Lora graduated from Stillwater High School in 1940 and worked as a dental assistant and a secretary at Washington Federal Savings and Loan in Stillwater before marrying her high school sweetheart, Karl, in 1943 at Ascension Episcopal Church in Stillwater. She devoted her life to her family and was active in community affairs. She was on the board and president of Lakeview Hospital Auxillary; volunteered many years for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile; was very active in the women's group at Ascension Episcopal Church; and was a long time member of the Friday Study Club. Along with her husband Lora enjoyed the St. Croix River, skiing, gardening, tennis and Big Band Music. She also found pleasure in oil painting, sewing and reading but most of all she took joy in being with her family.

A memorial service for family will take place later this summer.
