Lana Marie Vogt age 69 of Hudson died peacefully May 14, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. Lana was born on January 12, 1949 in Owatonna, Minnesota; the daughter of Albert and Ilah Boettcher. She attended Ellendale Elementary prior to graduating from Stillwater High School in 1967. She would further her education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. Later in life, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia College in 1992.

Lana would be married to Scott Vogt to which a son Graydon was born. This union would later dissolve. She worked for 3M for over 30 years heading up trades shows across the country.

Lana loved planting flowers, house plants and trips to the Conservatory. She enjoyed reading fiction & mystery novels daily. Her favorite TV shows and movies were Star Trek and The Godfather series. She adored her pets, wild life and feeding birds around the house. She always dreamt of living on a beach or the ocean.

Lana will live on in the hearts of her son Graydon (Lisa) Vogt and their children Garret and Ilah; brother James (Valerie) Boettcher, sister Dianne (Dan) Benson; aunts Donna (Harry) Broadway, Barbara (Pete) Peterson; and many friends and extended relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Albert Boettcher Jr.

Funeral service for Lana will be 4pm, Sunday May 20th at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at O'Connell's Sunday afternoon. Interment will be private. Memorials or flowers will be used to further the things she loved in life.

  1. I’m shocked and so very sad to read this. I worked with and knew Lana for years at 3M when I worked on trade shows for my division years ago. She was a sweet, sweet woman who knew how to get things done. My deepest sympathy to her son and family.
