Marjorie Ann (O’Hara) Wilgren, passed away on September 15, 2018, while in a memory home in Hudson WI. She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 9, 1937, to “Lu” Leonore Lucille (Kuyava) O'Hara and Raymond Patrick O’Hara Sr., both preceding her in death. Marjorie’s long hard battle against Alzheimer’s disease has ended and she is now at peace.

Marjorie was a 1955 graduate of Denfeld High School, Duluth, MN. In 1958 she married the love of her life, Rodney Toivo Wilgren at Saint Clements Church, Duluth, MN. Rodney preceded her in death in 1998.

Marjorie had an incredible talent for sewing and made many beautiful articles of clothing for herself and her children. She crafted handsewn designs for her home. For nearly 30 years, she was a member of the Saint Croix County, Woods N Hills, Homemakers Club, taking this charge to heart, she worked hard to make her house a home. She enjoyed spending time on the water more than anything else. Brighton Beach on Lake Superior was one of her favorite and most frequently visited places. Marjorie was an avid bowler and belonged to several teams, perhaps the most memorable, Hansen’s House of Phones. She joined St. Patrick Parish in 1977 when the family moved to Hudson. She participated in many church activities including; choir, food shelf, funeral lunches, and bookkeeping. The camaraderie she found while joining in was extremely important to her. She cherished friendships. Duluth friends, Carol Plummer, JoAnn Armbrust Johnson, and Virginia Loefflemacher share more than 75 years of friendships with her.

Marjorie was employed as a bank teller for over twelve years at the State Bank in Hudson. She spent many years before that as a cashier at Erickson’s grocery store. She found great satisfaction in knowing as many people as possible from the community.

Marjorie was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and took great pride in her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Wilgren (Clyne), Dean Clyne (son-in-law), granddaughter Rachel (Wilgren) Boelke, Nathan (grandson-in-law), Josh, Ella and Lilja (great-grandchildren); son Wayne Wilgren, Karyn Kollitz Wilgren (former-daughter-in-law), grandchildren Jon and Anna; sister Kathy (O’Hara) Dennis, Scott Dennis (brother-in-law) and their children Ken, Steven and Andrea; Barbara (Kuras) O’Hara (sister-in-law), and her children Tom, Nancy, Kim and Sandra. Preceding her in death was her older brother Raymond Patrick O’Hara married to Barbara.
