William "Bill, Uncle Bill" Boumeester, age 50, of Hudson, WI, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on March 13th, 2019 in Cottonwood, AZ. Bill was born on May 28th, 1968 in River Falls, WI to parents Jeff & Marcia Boumeester. Bill attended school in River Falls, WI & graduated in 1989. Bill loved participating in the Special Olympics during his teenage years. He has many ribbons & metals for his efforts.

In Bill’s younger years, he loved to ride his bike along County Road A. Bill loved checking out his neighborhood & stopping to visit with the neighbors that meant so much to him. You may have even been one of the many people who honked at Bill as he rode down County Road A.

In Bill’s free time he enjoyed doing puzzles, playing Uno, Pie Face, & basketball, collecting watches & sunglasses, looking through picture albums, watching movies, swimming, bowling, riding his bike, walking the neighborhood, & completing one side of a Rubik’s cube. Another thing Bill was known for was making bead necklaces that he loved to give to family & friends.

After Bill graduated high school, he started work at St. Croix Industry in New Richmond, which later became E.S.R. He continued to work here for 29 years. During the winter months, Bill enjoyed going to the ARC program in Cottonwood, AZ.

William "Bill" Boumeester's Tribute Wall

Tributes (1):

  1. Bill meant a great deal to us the 18 years we were neighbors and friends. We know he cared a great deal for us to too!
My favorite story of him is when he visited us, his neighbors; as we knew him from thereon, as ” What doin?” Chris and Joel Johnson too! The story: I would sit on the porch steps to shave my legs! When one day who should appear around the garage was Bill! His favorite expression was “What doin?” Well, I don’t remember what I answered; but from thereon that was what we called him as our friend! I know
he never knew that; but knowing now I think he would love that!
    I enjoyed telling the “story”!
Forever he will be remembered as good friend and neighbor! Love you Bill! We’ll miss you!
    Jerry and Gaye
Sorry for your loss, our hearts are with you Jeff and Marcia!
We know how hard it is to lose a loved one!
