The O'Connell Family offers a tradition of several generations of their family serving yours in a time of need. Frank O'Connell first established the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in 1926. Today, the O'Connell Family is proud to continue their special service to the communities they serve while celebrating life. With larger corporate companies purchasing funeral homes and impersonalizing funerals, you can trust the O'Connell Family to serve you personally. Every family is treated as if it were their own.
Thus, the name O'Connell Family Funeral Homes.

Tom O'Connell Jr. assists with operational plans working with trends and public relations. His background in marketing allows the O'Connells to stay focused on details and providing meaningful service. Cindy Schultz assists in administration assuring families receive death certificates in a timely manner and that any other related paperwork is promptly handled. Together, the entire O'Connell Family Funeral Homes staff will be at your service to assure all details are carefully handled and every family is treated as if they were their own.
Being family owned and operated, the O'Connells are tightly woven within the communities they serve. Tom and Janet O'Connell have served as chairpersons for the United Way fund drive for St. Croix County and are proud sponsors of the Relay For Life campaign against cancer. Tom O'Connell served on the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors for nearly thirty years helping preserve our living standards while supporting community projects. Mike O'Connell has served as a volunteer ambulance attendant and volunteer firefighter for Hudson and Baldwin.
The O'Connells have also been active with the Hudson Booster Days, North Hudson Pepper Fest, International Rotary, Lions Club, Baldwin Dutch Days and the Baldwin Area Chamber of Commerce. Kathi O'Connell has been active in our community, assisting and coordinating grief classes and holiday programs as well as participating with the Local Lions Organization. Last, but certainly not forgotten, Dan O'Connell served as a civic and community leader.
The O'Connells offer complete funeral and cremation service. First and foremost, the O'Connell Family is dedicated in offering all options and choices. Funerals or celebrations of life should reflect the family's wishes and be carried out to their fullest. Each and every funeral can be personalized by reflecting the deceased hobbies, interests, and pastimes; thus A Life Worth Celebrating!
