Ellsworth

Amanda Lee Peterson, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1986, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Larry Carr and Lucille Christiansen Blacklock.

Amanda was a caring person with a large heart, often putting the needs of others before her own. She attended school and later worked as a laborer for S.B. Foot Tanning Company. Amanda was a loving mother to her two children, Kaeleigh and Caiden, who were truly her whole world.

Even through difficult times, Amanda continued to care deeply for those around her. She had a way of taking others under her wing, building friendships, and creating memories that would last a lifetime. She gave everything she had to her children and worked to teach them valuable lessons about life. Amanda was honest, strong, and real. She lived life as it came and always tried to make the best of every situation. She was proud of the life she built and the people she held close.

Amanda enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether going for walks, hiking, feeling the cool breeze, or simply appreciating the simple things in life. She also loved being out on the boat, enjoying the water and making memories with those she loved.

Amanda is survived by her significant other Tanner Marko, daughter Kaeleigh Peterson, son Caiden Peterson, mother Lucille Christensen Blacklock, step father Steve Christensen, Father Larry (Janet Green) Carr, siblings Michelle Schmidt, Kristie Faust, Danielle Cosgriff, and Jacob, grandparents, Gerald and Thursie Blacklock, Dorthy Overgoord, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved dog Maggie, her amazing great grandpa Allen Christensen, her loving sisters Danielle, and Tamara Counts.
