Andrew Terwilliger

Andrew Terwilliger, age 56, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at his home in Hudson, WI, succumbing to kidney cancer. Andrew was born on October 23, 1962, the son of Nahum and Mary (Groth) Terwilliger in Zumbrota, Minnesota. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School and went onto attend University of Minnesota, where he attained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1998, he was united in marriage to Brenda Ann Sarauer in Hudson, WI. In mid-2000, Andrew formed his own company, opening and operating six Fantastic Sams salons throughout South-Central Minnesota.

Andrew had a great appreciation for the outdoors; he was an avid cyclist and a committee member of the River Valley Trails. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time at various state parks, in which, he captured wild flowers and beautiful scenery on his camera as well as hiking the terrain.  He loved reading science fiction novels and business magazines.  Andrew was also an active member of his community; he became a long-standing member of the Hudson Rotary.

Andrew will remain in the hearts of his wife, Brenda; sons, Austin and Alexander; siblings, Lance, John, Charles (Jenny), Paul (Kathy), Joe (Amy), and Michelle Terwilliger; parents-in-law, Jeanette and Daniel Sarauer; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nahum and Mary.

A Memorial Prayer Service will be held at 4 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, WI, followed by a Gathering of Family and Friends until 6 PM.
