Anna Wagner

Anna Wagner age 92 of Hudson, formerly of River Falls died peacefully Thursday November 20, 2014 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.  Anna was born on July 12, 1922 in Austria, Hungary; the daughter of Mathias and Eva Silber. She was raised in Hungary where she attended school. On April 13, 1939, she was united in marriage to Konrad Wagner in Hungary. They would move to the United States in 1949. Most recently, she and Konrad lived in River Falls and Hudson prior to Konrad’s death in 2009. Anna enjoyed cooking and baking; especially German heritage goodies. She also liked to work with crafts, handiwork, and lately painting.

Anna is survived by her daughter Lisa Becker; and her girls Sierra, Olivia, and Leanna. She is further survived by her nieces Katherine and Rosemary. Her husband precedes her in death.

Mass of Christian Burial for Anna Wagner will be 11AM Wednesday November 26th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hudson. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church Wednesday morning. Memorials are preferred. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
