Annabelle J. Weinberg

Annabelle J. Weinberg, age 85 of Hammond, formerly of Hudson died September 28, 2016 at Region’s Hospital in St. Paul. Annabelle was born on July 13, 1931; the daughter of August and Agnes (Deters) Weinberg. She was raised in Hudson graduating from Hudson High School.  Annabelle worked many years as a secretary for Burlington Northern Railroad.

Annabelle loved to read books, volumes of them. She enjoyed good food and had a special fondness for sweets. She loved giving candy out to those who helped her. She never missed her favorite soap operas and would even have Fr. Harris wait until they were over to visit with her!  She loved crafting and baking, winning several local fair ribbons.

She leaves behind many nieces and nephews ,her sister Doris Graham and sister-in-law Marlene Weinberg. She is preceded in death by her siblings Harold (Marjorie) Weinberg, Rosemary (Curtis) Johnson, Earl Weinberg, Ed (Jeannie) Berg, Arlyn (Katie) Weinberg, Raymond Weinberg and brother in law Frank Graham.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Private graveside services were held at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials are preferred. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin.
