Arthur E. Neuman

Arthur Edward Neuman, age 89 of River Falls, WI, passed away August 22, 2015. Born January 10, 1926 to Joseph Neuman and Mary (Mans) Neuman. Arthur graduated from Mankato High, Iowa State, and the U of M.  Arthur joined the Navy in WWII and then commanded a salvage boat in the Korean War.  He worked for Northwest Airlines, Control Data, and Minnesota Supercomputer.  Arthur married Elizabeth Trisko of Edina, and is survived by 3 children, Melanie Neuman of Sudbury MA, Audrey Neuman of Bloomfield CT, and Peter Neuman of Mpls, MN; grandsons, Cameron & Hayden Waggener; brother, Vincent Neuman; sister, Shirley Mellen; and lifelong companion, Judith Damerow.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Neuman; and brother, Bernard Neuman.  He loved gardening, mathematics, hiking, canoeing, and traveling the world.  Funeral services 11 AM Tuesday, September 8th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial 1:30 PM Tuesday following services at Ft Snelling Nat’l Cemetery in Mpls. Memorials preferred to Catholic Charities of St. Paul.
