Austin T. Eckard

Austin T. Eckard, age 25, of North Branch, WI, died tragically on October 30, 2020 in Chisago City, MN of an automobile accident.

He was born on December 21, 1994 to Teri Berg and Shane Eckard in St. Croix Falls, WI. He attended grade school in Osceola, WI, and graduated from Osceola High School, the class of 2013. After school, he worked at Taco Bell/KFC in North Branch before working at Arbys in Lindstrom, MN.

Austin loved the outdoors. In the winter, he frequented the slopes on his snowboard, and in the summer, he loved sitting around a bonfire. He cherished spending time with his cousins and friends, and was an avid music lover. Austin was a very witty person with an amazing sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Teri (John) Berg-Enquist; father, Shane Eckard; sister, Amber Berg-Leehe; step-sisters, Amber Enquist and Izabella (Mario) Sanchez-Garcia; step-brother, Tyler Enquist; aunt and uncle, Sharmaine Eckard and Chad Anderson; niece and nephew, Ciara and Briar Leehe; cousin, Brianna Eckard; grandparents, Doris Lundquist and Russ Eckard; as well as many other family members. He is preceded in death by his brother, Addam Fisk; nephew, Marshall Fisk; cousin, Ashley Berg; and grandparents, Duane & Shirley Berg.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson. Memorials are preferred to the family.
