Avery Beaulah Hayes

Avery Beaulah Hayes, 87, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, May 24, 2017 at the Regina Medical Center in Hastings, Minnesota.

Avery was born February 13, 1930, in Oak Grove Township, Wisconsin to Arthur and Anna (Myers) Gwilt. She married John Hayes on December 11, 1948 in Red Wing, Minnesota. Anna enjoyed gardening and reading.

Avery is survived by her three sons, Roger Hayes, Allen (Peggy) Hayes, and Jonathon (Mary) Gwilt; five daughters, Gail Hayes, Irene (Richard) Ahlers, Marcine Christiansen, Barbara (Charles) Jones, and Sherry Chandler; brother, Austin (Bonnie) Gwilt; sister, Mae (Cal) Gilles; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hayes; her parents, two brothers, Arthur and Sigrud Gwilt; sister, Roseann Matzek; and great grandchild, Benjamyn Farslow.

A Funeral Service for Avery will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth. A visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Trenton Cemetery in Hagar City, Wisconsin.

Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be assisting the family.
