Barbara Ann Arens Johnson, age 82, of Woodville, WI passed away due to illness on May 7th, 2022 at Abbott Northwest Hospital. Barbara was born on September 7th, 1939 to Eleanor and Lloyd Johnson in Woodville, WI. Barbara grew up in Woodville, and graduated from Woodville High School.  She then married Harlan Johnson. Barbara had four children; Deborah, Kenneth, Juanita, and David.

Barbara spent her career working at Parkview Nursing Home as their director of food. Barbara loved to be outside. She would walk 5-7 miles every day with as many dogs as she could walk. She held her faith very close to her heart. Every morning, Barbara would wake up, read her daily bread, and read her Bible. She also loved to be with her family. She was always so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchild. Barbara was an avid bowler, and always was reading a new book.

Barbara will forever remain in the hearts of her husband Dale Arens; children Deborah Johnson and Ken (Linda) Johnson; grandchildren Matthew and Travis; great-grandchild Mackenzie; step-children Linda Olson and Suzanne Aarons; brother Richard (Francine) Johnson; sisters Sharon (Duane) Gross and Shirley Arnaldy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Harlan Johnson; children Juanita and David Johnson; sister Marilyn Stensland; twin brothers Floyd Johnson and Jim Johnson; brother David Johnson; parents Lloyd and Eleanor Johnson; and brothers-in-law Tony Arnaldy and Carrol Stensland.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be on Sunday May 15th, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Woodville, WI at 3:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
