Brian Atherton

Brian James Atherton, age 56, of Hager City, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly after a heart attack on Monday, September 5, 2022, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Brian was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He owned and operated his own machine shop where he could be found at all hours tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. He could fix just about anything.

He is survived by his brother Patrick (Maureen) Atherton and their son Steve (Melissa) Atherton; uncles, Terry Raebel and Richard Raebel; many nieces, nephews and friends; and his dear companion, Ginger the golden retriever.

A celebration of life will be held September 17 ^th at The Bluffs Bar & Grill from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Arrangements are entrusted to O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Ellsworth, Wisconsin.
