Brian Alan Carr, age 58, of New Richmond, passed away on Friday, August 23rd, 2019, surrounded by the immense love of the three special girls in his life. He was born in Clinton, Iowa, on April 29th, 1961, to Ronald and Dixie (Winter) Carr. Brian received his engineering degree from Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis and worked as a mechanical engineer for most of his life.
His spirit resonated with nature and the outdoors. You could find him kayaking, canoeing, or fishing, among many other activities. A peaceful river was his happy place.
Brian will be fondly remembered by his wife, Julie; his daughters, Anna and Sarah; his mother, Dixie Carr of New Richmond; and his siblings, Brad (Rachel) Carr of Wyoming, and Jeff Carr of Maine. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Carr.
A memorial service will take place on September 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Deerfield Assisted Living in New Richmond, WI. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family. Memorial services and cremation have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes.
