Carolyn Wettersten

Carolyn Doris Wettersten, age 86 of Hudson, Wisconsin, formerly St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away with her family at her side on September 13, 2021 at her home. Carolyn was born on November 11, 1934 in Concord, Massachusetts, to Novello and Myrtle (Phillips) Cuttell. She grew up in Maynard, Massachusetts and graduated from Maynard High School. Carolyn was united in marriage to David Wettersten on March 21, 1959 in Maynard. The couple made their home in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was blessed with a daughter, Linda. Carolyn expressed kindness and love to her family and everyone she met, and worked for several insurance companies. She was an avid reader, and was immensely proud of her granddaughters.

Carolyn will remain in the hearts of her husband of 62 years, David; daughter, Linda (Randy) Bryden; granddaughters, Brianna Erzar and Marisa Bryden. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Frances and Eleanor.

A memorial service celebrating Carolyn’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at The Anglican Church of St. Dunstan, 4241 Brookside Ave., St. Louis Park, MN. A gathering of family and friends with some light refreshments will follow the service at the church. Memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
