River Falls, WI

Casey Alex Follansbee, age 40, of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on October 21, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1986, in Red Wing, Minnesota, to Clinton and Cindy Follansbee. The youngest of four siblings, Casey grew up surrounded by family and developed a personality that was unmistakably his own. He attended River Falls Montessori High School, where his life would eventually lead him to the person who would become his greatest love, Breeana.

Casey and Breeana shared 17 wonderful years together, beginning with a friendship that grew into a lasting love. The two were united in marriage on September 24, 2016, at Junior's. Throughout their years together, they found happiness in life's simpler moments. Whether it was enjoying a date night at the West Wind or spending an evening sitting around a bonfire, Casey and Breeana treasured the time they shared and the life they built together.

Casey was never one to go unnoticed. Loud, witty, and full of personality, he enjoyed the things that brought him happiness and was never afraid to be himself. Music was a big part of Casey's life, and he especially enjoyed listening to Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne, and Metallica. He also had a knack for singing and owned several guitars, finding enjoyment in music whether he was listening to his favorite songs or making music of his own.

When he wasn't listening to music, Casey could often be found enjoying one of his favorite video games. Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda, and Resident Evil were among his favorites. He also enjoyed playing poker, watching scary movies, and exploring anything involving the paranormal. Some of his happiest moments were spent simply playing games, listening to music, and spending time with his brother and close friends. Casey didn't need anything extravagant to enjoy himself. Good company, a favorite game, and some great music were often all he needed.

One of Casey's closest companions was his beloved husky, Percy. The bond they shared was something special, and Percy held a place in Casey's heart that could never be replaced.

Above all, Casey will be remembered for being unapologetically himself. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose larger-than-life personality, love of music, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Casey is survived by his loving wife, Breeana Follansbee; his sons, Jason Follansbee, Cameron Follansbee, Ethan Wescott, Tim Wescott, and Joshua Brubaker; his parents, Clint Follansbee and Cindy (Craig) Helmer; his siblings, Renae (Tom) Axtell, Matt (Tonya) Follansbee, and Micky Follansbee; along with many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Zaelia Follansbee.
