Charlene Charlie Sonsthagen

Charlene “Charlie” Gail Sonsthagen, age 75 of New Richmond, passed away on December 14, 2019, at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. She was born on August 4, 1944 in Carlisle MN, the daughter of Leonard and Maxine (Mason) Nelson. She worked as a machine operator for Dymatronix in Amery. Charlie enjoyed hunting, at home she could be found baking brownies, sewing, and spending time with her dogs.

Charlie is survived by her daughter, Debbie Schauer; grandchildren, Thomas (Jennifer Mueller) Thompson, Ashley (Cory Nelson) Thompson, and Justin Thompson; great-grandchildren, Rosemary, Onyx and Hazel. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Vernon Nelson, Delna (Floyd Beecher) Seams, and David Nelson.

Memorial Service for Charlene will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019, at St. Lukes Lutheran Church of New Richmond, WI. Services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin, WI
