Charlotte M. Dubois

Charlotte M. (Lee) DuBois, Age 68 of New Richmond, formerly of Hudson and St. Paul, MN; passed away December 26, 2011 and is at peace after 18 years of surviving cancer and battling Alzheimer’s. Charlotte was born September 13, 1943 in Amery, WI to George and Rose (Corty) Lee. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1961. Charlotte was united in marriage on December 28, 1963 to Kenneth Dean DuBois at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clear Lake, WI. Their marriage blessed them with five children. Charlotte worked as a bookkeeper for many years with Mike McPhillips Incorp. She enjoyed reading, walking and cooking. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to country and gospel music. Charlotte cherished her time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and parents, Rose & George Lee. She is survived by her loving children, Christopher (Shelley) DuBois, Ken Jr. (Leigh Ann) DuBois, Denise Krois, Joel DuBois and David DuBois; special grandchildren, Madalyn, Cassie & Ashley Krois, Christina & Isabella DuBois and Hunter Barnes; 6 brothers, 4 sisters; many nieces & nephews; and special friend, Kathy Ridlehoover. Funeral Services will take place 12 NOON Thursday, Dec. 29 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, with visitation from 10 AM until the time of service, with Fr. Jim Brinkman officiating. Special music will be provided by Mike Murtha and Mary Post. Private interment will take place at Ft. Snelling Nat’l Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Memorials are preferred to The Deerfield Assisted Living & Memory Care of New Richmond, WI. Funeral Services are entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson and Countryside Crematory in Baldwin.
