Cheryl Marie Saari

Cheryl Marie (Hogue) Saari, age 68, of Baldwin Wisconsin, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2026.

Born on May 18, 1957, in Edina, Cheryl was the beloved daughter of Marcella and Robert Hogue. She graduated from Edina East High School and went on to build a meaningful career at Brown & Bigelow, where she worked for 25 years. Cheryl was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and unwavering commitment to others.

After a brief retirement, Cheryl felt called to continue serving her community and accepted a position at Baldwin-Woodville High School, where she dedicated 15 years supporting students and staff. Her presence there reflected her generous heart and desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Marcella and Robert Hogue. She is survived by her loving spouse, Richard Saari; her son, Travis Saari (Brittney); and her cherished grandchildren, , Ivy, Ruby, Sofie, and Luna, sisters Margaret Foulks, Elizabeth Hogue, and Brother Mark Hogue She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Outside of her professional life, Cheryl found great joy in cooking, solving crossword puzzles, volunteering, and most especially spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in every moment she shared with them.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Cheryl will be remembered for her love of family, generous spirit, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Arrangements entrusted to O’Connell Funeral Home, Baldwin
