Chrissy Gorton

Christine “Chrissy” Rae Gorton (Vasfaret), age 53, of Hudson WI passed away peacefully on November 26, 2021 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Chrissy was born on May 25, 1968 to Vernon and Leona Vasfaret in Baldwin, WI.

Chrissy grew up in the Pleasant Valley township, and attended St. Croix Central elementary and high school. When she wasn’t spending time with her family you could find her reading a romance novel, crocheting, and most of all playing with cats!

Chrissy will forever live in the hearts of her father Vernon Vasfaret, her niece Brianna Vasfaret (Matthew Leirmo); her brothers Jerry and Jason (Holly) Vasfaret, sister Brenda Vasfaret; great nieces and nephews KayLee, Ava, Zach, and Noah as well as many other family and friends. Chrissy is preceded in death by one unborn baby, her mother Leona Vasfaret, and her grandparents.

A celebration of Chrissy’s life will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5-7pm at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI.
