Clark Elroy Lein, age 74 of Gordon, WI died unexpectedly September 13, 2019 at his home. Clark was born on March 5, 1945 in Green Bay, Wisconsin; the oldest son of J. Philip and Otelia (Mitchell) Lein. Clark and his younger brother Lewis, both named after the Lewis and Clark Expedition, grew up in Hudson, and attended Hudson High School. In his younger days, he worked at Armour & Company in South St. Paul and was later blessed with three children, Preston, Stacy and Justin. Clark was united in marriage to Nancy Jeffries on October 7, 1989 in Stacey, MN. He worked as an Armed Security Officer with First National Bank (later U.S. Bank) in downtown St. Paul and later for Pinkerton Government Services as an Armed Protective Agent for U.S. military weapons contractor Alliant Techsystems. Clark loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being outdoors. He was entertained by television wrestling and football, and often relished in the memories of the WCW and WWF, or made a small friendly wager on the Packer game.

Clark will remain in the hearts of his wife of 29 years, Nancy Jeffries-Lein; children, Preston (Delia) Lein of Forest Lake, MN, Stacy Lein of Balsam Lake, WI, and Justin Lein of Forest Lake, MN; granddaughter, Hunter Panoch; brother, Lewis (Rebecca) Lein of St. Paul; former wife, Linda Beckman of Balsam Lake, WI; other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Christopher Lein.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 3:00-5:30 p.m., with a 5:30 p.m. prayer service on Thursday, September 19th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI.
