Constance May (Nee Peterson)

Constance May (nee Peterson), age 68, of Roberts, WI, passed away December 20, 2015 at her home.

Constance was born on January 27, 1947 in Frederic, WI to Ralph and May Bernice (Erickson) Peterson. She grew up in New Richmond and graduated from New Richmond High School in 1965. She earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where she studied Sociology and Psychology. Constance over the years has worked at 1st National Bank St. Paul, Dayton’s Department Store and as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines.

Constance loved spending time with her family, especially all her great-nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Grandma Connie.” She took wonderful care of her mother, acting as her daily companion and caregiver. Constance loved God and believed in prayer. She sent weekly cards to sick family and friends to show they were in her thoughts and prayers. She enjoyed antiquing, and frequenting flea markets and garage sales.

Constance will remain in the hearts of her mother, Bernice Peterson; siblings, Michael (Sally) Peterson, and Beverly (John) Ball; nieces and nephews, Dana (Jeff) Christopherson, Matthew (Jessica) Peterson; Jessica (Matt) Dunlap, and Lindsay (Joe) Green; great-nieces and nephews, Evan and Nyssa; Elliana, Maya, Trinity, and Flint; Olivia and Johnny; Brooklyn, Ireland, and Joe. She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Peterson.

A Memorial Service for Constance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Cross Lutheran Church, 1246 County Rd. TT, Roberts, WI. Private Interment. Memorials preferred.
