Cynthia Bosman

Cynthia Mae (Alwin) Bosman, age 60 of Colfax, passed away at her home on October 13, 2016 from intestinal cancer. Cindy was born in Hudson, WI to Deryl and Lorraine Alwin. She graduated from Hudson High School, the Class of 1974. On November 28, 1975, she married Tim Bosman of Baldwin, and joined him in taking over the family farm. From there they moved to Onalaska, WI, Kansas City, MO, Grand Rapids, MI and finally Colfax, WI. She enjoyed her pet deer, her dogs, and trying to defend her idea that animals, especially dogs go to heaven. She was very thoughtful, and was good at remembering everyones birthdays, especially her nieces and nephews. Cindy delighted in her time out shopping and eating out. Her hope was to be here for the return of the Lord, but God’s plan is much better.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Tim; her special friend, Dolly, her Maltese Shih tzu dog; her parents, Deryl and Lorraine Alwin; siblings, Julie (Larry) Wesson, Lisa (Dan) Weyers, Louanne Keppers, and Dave (Amy Lynn) Alwin; five uncles, four aunts; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John & Mabel Bol; paternal grandparents, Allen Alwin and Ruth Schaar; uncles, Lester & Leslie Rens, and aunts, Hazel and Marlys Rens; and niece, Sheri Jahner.

A Visitation will be held 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin. Interment will take place 9:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Baldwin Cemetery. A Memorial Service will take place 2:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Gateway Church, 3445 Gateway Dr., Eau Claire, with Pastor Billy Gibson officiating. Memorials are preferred to Heartland Hospice.
