Cynthia (Cindy) Joan Omann passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, with family by her side.
Cindy was born on July 27, 1959, at the Baldwin Community Hospital to John and Minnie Omann. She attended school in Baldwin and graduated from Baldwin-Woodville High School. Shortly after graduation, she began her work life at McMillan Electric Company in Woodville, WI. She was a devoted employee for more than 40 years. Cindy worked in the warehouse and eventually received her CDL and made numerous trips to the Twin Cities in the big truck.
Cindy is survived by seven sisters and brothers: Linda Miner, Virginia (Harvey) Gleason, Dennis (Mari) Omann, Dave (Norma) Omann, Bonnie (Mike) Ida, Tim (Kayleen) Omann, Floyd Omann and Tammy, and special friend Roger Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Omann, her nephew Brian Omann, and brother-in-law David Miner.
Cindy enjoyed doing crafts and making cards for family and friends. She also enjoyed being outdoors, growing flowers, traveling, going to horse shows and attending Church Basement Ladies plays. Cindy always took time to visit with family and friends to share laughter and stories. Her life was well lived.
Visitation will be held at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI on Monday, April 13th from 3:00 – 7:00 PM.
Memorials are preferred in Cindy’s name to the charity of your choice.
