Dan DeBauche

Danny DeBauche passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his home in North Hudson, WI. He was born on September 18, 1948 in Bloomington, IL, the son of John and Lucille (Futrell) DeBauche.

Goodbye Danny! You have enriched the world through your life. Loving husband, dedicated father, caring grandfather, caring ex-husband, uncle and friend. Veteran and construction worker.

He loved the Cubs, golf, camping, and especially fishing – anything outdoors. He was a hard worker and a hard player. He loved life and he lived life to the fullest. He had a hard life and a hard death.

He found peace with himself in Alcoholics Anonymous. Sober for 32 years. Danny D…always the jokester and fun loving guy. Always willing to help out, and was not afraid to get his hands dirty. Dan, we love you so much. We will always have a soft spot in our hearts for you.

Danny will always be remembered by his wife, Jackie DeBauche; children, Dusty (Chris) Monberg, and Dan Ham; grandchildren, Ashley (Wyatt) Scott, Jessica (Kaleb) Shepherd, William ‘Bubby’ Scott, Cheyenne (Kyle) Hughes, Sierra Atteberry, Madilyn Scott, and Paine DeBauche; great-grandchildren, Mia, Blakelyn, Ivy, and Ewan; siblings, Frankie (Cliff) Wright and Paula (Rich) Duane; his first wife, Sheryl (Ray) Maier; step-father, Bill Futrell; as well as other extended family and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph DeBauche; parents John and Lucille; sister, Karen DeBauche; and brother, Butch DeBauche.

Memorial Services for Danny will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, WI. A Gathering of Dan’s Family and Friends will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM before the service. Military Honors will take place after the service and will be followed by a lunch.
