Danny Wittek

Danny Wittek, age 56 of Hudson, passed away December 7, 2017 at United Hospital in St. Paul. MN.

Danny was born September 27, 1961 in Hudson to parents Theodore and Jean (O’Brien) Wittek. He graduated from Hudson High School. For many years Danny worked as a painter, painting homes and commercial businesses. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed hunting for deer and other small animals. Danny collected rock from everywhere he went, and was often seen riding his bicycle around town.

Danny is survived by his siblings, Ann Bruce, David Wittek, Pati Wittek (Robert Griesgraber), Cindi Westling, Jani (Dennis) Javis, Scott (Char) Wittek, Khaki (Brian) Avenriep; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Terry, Robert, Mark, Selbi; brother-in-law, Randy Westling; and niece, Janell Javis.

A memorial service for Danny will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 11th St. S, Hudson, WI. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials preferred.
