David A. Hesselroth

David A. Hesselroth, age 57, of Hudson, WI, began his next journey on June 4, 2014.
He was born on Dec. 30, 1956 in St. Paul, MN to Gordy and Anne (Erlougher) Hesselroth, and grew up in Mendota Heights, MN. He spent his career at 3M for 35 years, most recently as a Technical Service Engineer. He has been married for 35 years to Jill (Heuer) Hesselroth. Dave was a loving husband, proud father, and adoring grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, traveling, and going to the family cabin in Webster, WI. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, bowler, and outdoorsman, among many other things. Dave was a talented handyman, and a continuous learner, with a generous and huge heart. Survived by his wife, Jill, of Hudson, WI; sons, Adam (Molly) of Woodbury, MN, and Grant (MacKenzie) of Marine on the St. Croix, MN; granddaughter, Mallory, of Woodbury, MN; siblings, Karen (Tim Peterson) Hesselroth, Lee (Jeanne Barker-Nunn) Hesselroth; and parents, Gordy & Anne Hesselroth. Preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Leonard & Rosalie Heuer.
A Memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, with a gathering of friends and family following the service until 8:00 p.m.
