David Allen Bjork

David Allen Bjork, 69, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at River Falls Area Hospital.
David was born April 10, 1948, in Ellsworth, Wisconsin to Ralph and Helen (Gutting) Bjork. He graduated from Ellsworth High School class of 1966. David married Patricia Ann Van Guilder on June 11, 1971, in Brookings, South Dakota.

Dave loved fishing and hunting. He worked as a maintenance engineer at Ralston Purina in Hager City, WI and S. B. Foot Tanning in Red Wing, MN. He also worked at the Sand Mine in Maiden Rock, WI.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Bjork; daughter, Lisa (Benjamin) Ebbers of Inver Grove Heights, MN; four grandsons, Jesse, Danny, Matt, and Joey Barstad all of Minneapolis, MN; eight siblings, Bob (Annette) Bjork, Bev (Tom) Radkey, Roger (Marilyn) Bjork, Ron (Diane) Bjork, Larry (Debi) Bjork, his twin brother Dan (Carol) Bjork, Vickie (Curt) Wandmacher, and Scott (Joanie) Bjork, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Nick Rhiel.

A funeral service for David will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at St. Mary’s Big River Catholic Church, in River Falls, Wisconsin. A visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, June 26, 2017 and from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church. Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Big River Cemetery.
