Dean Lyndon Swanson

Dean Lyndon Swanson, 53, of Owen, WI died as the result of an auto accident on Saturday, April 2, 2016.
Dean was born on May 15, 1962 in Baldwin, WI the son of Arlyn “Bud” and Janice (Leonard) Swanson.

He was a 1980 graduate of Elmwood High School. Dean was currently working for the Welcome Dairy in Colby WI. He was an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan and he loved socializing with his family and friends.

Dean is survived by his parents, Bud and Jan Swanson. Brothers and sisters: David (Ching) Swanson, North Pole, AK, Lynn Cynor, Owen, WI, Darrell (Gwen) Swanson, Leann (Brad) Gutting, both of Ellsworth, WI.

Aunts and uncle: Jim and Marie Leonard and Connie Rieck.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ray and Mable Swanson and James Melvin “Tunis” and Elsie Leonard.

A celebration of life for Dean will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI. Please come with your memories of Dean to be shared at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

In Memory of Dean, the family asks that you wear your favorite sportswear, Packers, Badgers or Brewers, to the Celebration of Life.
