Deborah Pierce

Deborah Pierce, age 73, of Cannon Falls, MN, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024. She is the daughter of Willard and Lorene Lee. Deb was born in Nome, ND on June 15th, 1951, and attended Enderlin High School where she met her husband, Patrick Pierce. They moved to Minnesota, where they raised their family. Home is where your mom is and her children felt this daily. When her children were older, Deb was a teacher’s aide at Cannon Falls Elementary School, where her warmth and kindness were shared with the children.

Deb’s life was defined by her deep love for family. She was a loving mother and grandmother; this is where she found her greatest joy. She treasured the simple pleasures of taking family trips to the lake, enjoying games of Scrabble, sewing, planting flowers in her garden or making a lemon meringue pie.

Deb is survived by her husband, Patrick Pierce, children Trina (Mark) Groen, Sara (Michael) Ting, and Ryan (Rachel) Pierce, grandchildren Emily and Katie Groen, Zachary and Aiden Ting, and Fischer Pierce, sister, Kathy Johnson, brother, Pete (Deb) Lee, and mother Lorene Lee. She is preceded in death by her father, Willard Lee.

On Friday, November 29, 2024, a visitation will be held at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:30 am at Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church; 30370 County 24 Boulevard, Cannon Falls, MN 55099.
