Debra Woods

Debra Jeanette Woods, age 65, born February 28, 1960 in Menomonie Wisconsin, passed away July 28, 2025 at Ellsworth Health Services Nursing Home in Ellsworth Wisconsin.

Debbie was a fun, loving, humorous person. She was loved by a lot who knew her. She lived a rough life, but took it for the good. Debbie looked at everything as an adventure. She fought until she had no fight left. She said “don’t cry for me, just keep telling the jokes and laugh”.

Debbie was survived by her parents and siblings. She came from a family of 8 siblings: Henry (Ardella) Woods, Janine (Mike) Elliott, John (Debra) Woods, Tom Woods, Shari (Jeff) Collacott, and Lou Woods Jr.; seven nieces and nephews and one step-sister Arlene Brathall.

She was preceded in death by her companion Michael Linehan; brother Noel Woods; father Lou Woods Sr.; grandparents Russel and Minnie Woods; grandfather Henry Lindsley; 23 aunts and uncles and their spouses and step-sister Robin Brathall.

A Celebration of Life for Debra Woods will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on October 18, 2025, at the Hancock Masonic Lodge:400 High Point Dr. Ellsworth, WI 54011.
