Delores Senrick

Delores Senrick, age 87, of St. Joseph Township, WI died unexpectedly on Tuesday July 28, 2020 at Hudson Hospital.

Delores was born on August 5, 1932 in Hudson, WI the daughter of Elmer and Cecilia (Sorensen) Simpson. She graduated from Hudson High School with the class of 1950. Shortly after, she married the love of her life Eugene “Gene” Senrick on June 17, 1950 and together they were blessed with four children.

Delores was a devoted mother who loved being with her family and baking all kinds of goodies for them. She was famous for her homemade caramels. Delores and Gene loved to travel. They enjoyed trips to all 50 states, all over Canada, parts of Europe, as well as cruises. She also enjoyed reading, bowling, puzzles and was hard to beat at card games, especially cribbage and 500.

Delores will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Debrah (Roger) Johnson and Cathy (Don) Gilbert; her sons, Steven (Jan) Senrick and Scott Senrick; grandchildren, Adam, Brian and David Gilbert, Callie Sletten, Joel Senrick, Amy Perkins, Megan Moon George, and Jordan, Jocelyn, Josh, and Kyle Senrick, and Kristi and Tara Ostendorf; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Jerry) Weeks; brother, Bob (Anne) Simpson; as well as extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene; sisters Eleanor Sommers and Eunice Miller

Memorial Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 12th at the Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Houlton, 285 County Rd. E, Houlton WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church from 10-11AM. Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery, Houlton WI. Memorials preferred to Family of Christ Lutheran Church.
