Dennis Ewald Deaton

Dennis E. Deaton, 58, of Prescott, WI died suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2015, at his home.

Dennis was born on Milwaukee, WI, the son of Richard and Margaret (Schmidt) Deaton on January 28, 1957. Dennis served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Blackbox Network Services for many years. Dennis loved to hunt and garden. He was an avid history buff and loved watching classic war movies.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn.
Three children: Ashley, Richard and Sara Deaton.
A brother and sister: David (Maria) Deaton, and Diane Deaton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Services for Dennis will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Joy Lutheran Church, Prescott, WI. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls., MN. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Monday at the Hill Funeral Home, Prescott, WI and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Military honors will be provided by the veterans of Prescott, Castelloe Madsen American Legion Post #61 and members of the VFW.
