Dennis Wayne Forss

Dennis Wayne Forss, 68, of Ellsworth, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Atrium Post Acute Care, Ellsworth, WI. Dennis was born in Red Wing MN August 25, 1948, the son of Donald and Nancy (Brown) Forss. He spent his earliest years in Zumbrota MN, and the remainder of his life in Ellsworth

Dennis participated in Boy Scouts and 4H and was a member of the school band when it played at the dedication of the Eisenhower Bridge

He was a graduate of Ellsworth Sr. High in 1966. Dennis married Linda Jensen in 1976, they later divorced.

Dennis was a former employee of Schulte Super Valu, Forss Electric, Ellsworth Co-op Creamery, Land O’Lakes Creamery, and Treasure Island Casino.

He enjoyed riding horse in his teens and in his later years he enjoyed riding motorcycle, traveling and meeting new people.

Dennis served on the Ellsworth Ambulance Service, an auxiliary police officer and was a former member of Hancock Lodge #229, Masonic Lodge, Ellsworth.

He is survived by his children: Robert (Robin) and David Forss; grandchildren Levi Blomstrom, Blake, & Brooke Forss; siblings Sandra, Lester, & Gerald Forss & Karen Coulson; and nieces and nephews

Dennis was preceded in death by grandparents Leonard & Madeline Forss, Earl & Anna Brown, parents Donald & Nancy Forss, and sister Rebecca Forss.
