Dolores Corey

Dolores V. Corey, passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 94. Born to John and Victoria (Sarnowski) Sarnocinski and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Dolores attended St. Elhelreda Catholic School and graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1946. Dolores and Carl A. Corey celebrated their marriage in 1948 and the birth of their son, Carl, Jr a few years later. With a shared interest in antiques, Carl Sr. and Dolores were well known as the owners of The Barn and Field Flea Market in Cedar Lake, Indiana for over 20 years. Following her husband’s passing, Dolores moved to Hudson, Wisconsin to be closer to her son and his family. Dolores enjoyed backyard gardening, old photographs, and reminiscing. She valued time with her family above all.

Dolores remains in the hearts of her son, Carl Jr. (Mary Kay); grandchildren, Jacob (Jamie Halverson), and Erin (Brian) Starkey; great grandchildren, Simone, Lydia and Naomi.
