Baldwin

Donald Lee Stoddard, a beloved father and friend passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on October 7, 1957, in River Falls, Wisconsin, Donald spent his life dedicated to his family, his work at Cody Plumbing, and his hobbies that brought countless smiles and laughter to those around him.

Donald will be fondly remembered for his witty sense of humor and his ability to make even the simplest gatherings feel joyous. Whether it was playing cards for hours with his girlfriend Connie—enjoying games of 500 and Hands & Feet—or spending time bowling with friends and family, he could always be found in the midst of laughter and camaraderie. His passion for playing cards and bowling was only rivaled by his love for softball, where he shared many memorable moments on the field.

A true car enthusiast, Donald had a special fondness for classic Dodge Chargers, particularly the iconic models from 1969 to 1970 which he enjoyed tinkering with in his spare time. Donald took great joy indulging in good food with friends and family, especially traveling with Connie to find fish fry's, making every meal a celebration of life and love.

Donald’s heart was as big as his humor, and he will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by his loving children Chad (Natalie) Stoddard and Jessica (Brent) Zobel. His longtime girlfriend Connie Buss. Brothers Dennis (Elverna) Stoddard, Darrell (Sheri) Stoddard, sister Diane (Larry) Johnston. Grandchildren Eleanor & Nova Stoddard, Chance, Zach, Jaxson & Kennedy Zobel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Leland & Arlene Stoddard.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on November 8th 2025, from 1 to 4pm at Bases Loaded Saloon (Old Erin Corners Bar), 1797 County Road G, New Richmond WI. We take comfort in knowing that Donald's legacy of joy, kindness, and laughter will live on in all of us. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
