Doris Allene Church

Doris Church, of Boutwells Landing in Oak Park Heights, passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 97. Born November 6, 1928, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, she was a Wisconsin sheep farmer, published author, devoted Girl Scout leader, painter, and lifelong lover of animals and family.

She is survived by her sister, Janis Halverson (99) of Hudson, WI; her daughter Barbara O'Gorman; her son Wade Church (Patricia Behounek); grandchildren Mary Ellen Reihsen (Troy) and Christopher Roan (Claire Mazur); and great-grandsons Lucas Reihsen, Cole Reihsen, and Cameron Roan-Mazur. She was preceded in death by Lorran Church, her beloved husband of 75 years.

Visitation begins at 11:30 a.m. on June 19, 2026, at Boutwells Landing, 5600 Norwich Pkwy, Oak Park Heights, MN, with a memorial service at 12:30 followed by a light lunch.
