Doris Olson

Doris June “Dory” Olson, age 72, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Ladysmith, WI. Dory was born June 1, 1946 to Arthur & Bernice Olson. Although she had challenges in life, she always had her parents & three sisters there for her to shower her with love & support. Throughout her life, Dory found music to be quite calming, & listened to it often. She also enjoyed having company & being surrounded by friends & family.

Dory will remain in the hearts of her sisters; Donna (Orval) Britton of Baldwin, Karen (Mark) Schumacher of St. Paul, & Norma (Don) McGee of Baldwin; nieces & nephews Beth Olson, Jim Britton, Amy Wheeler, Katy Heggen, Leah Schumacher, Sarah Dodge, Matthew McGee, & Bradley McGee; as well as many cousins & extended family members. Doris’s nieces & nephews have the honor of being her pallbearers. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur & Bernice; & special friend Vaughn.

A Funeral Service for Doris will be held at Zion Lutheran Church of Woodville at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 3, 2019 with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place at Lone Pine Cemetery in Woodville. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin.
