Dorothy B. “Dot” Trauley

Dorothy B. ”Dot”” Trauley, age 92 of New Richmond WI, died on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. Born in Woodville WI, she and her four brothers and two sisters worked on the family farm in her early years. After graduating from New Richmond High School, she worked at Lockheed in California during the war years and returned to St. Paul where she met Dick, her future husband. They married in 1950 and had two children, Rick and Deb. She worked at 3M Corporation for 24 years, and then retired to Amery WI, where she and Dick enjoyed the lake, golf, and many wonderful friends. Dick and Dot loved to cruise, and also enjoyed many long winters in Phoenix AZ. She is survived by her son, Rick; daughter, Deb; granddaughter, Alison; grandson, Ryan; and great-granddaughter, Isley.

Memorial Celebration of Life Services for Dorothy Trauley will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 217 Deronda St. in Amery, WI 54001. Pastor Keith Ruehlow will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin, WI. 715-684-3434
