Douglas Sundet

Douglas Sundet, age 73 of Hudson passed away Friday April 18, 2025 at Kinnic Health Nursing Home in River Falls.
Doug dedicated his professional life as the lead engineer in the development of furnace air filters, a role that brought him immense pride and joy. His passion for engineering was only rivaled by his love for the outdoors; whether boating or tending to his yard, he found peace and fulfillment in nature. A devoted fan of Minnesota sports, Doug rooted passionately for the Minnesota Gophers and the Vikings.

In his free time, Doug was known for his enjoyment working on cars, particularly his cherished Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite. His zest for travel allowed him to explore many places with Roxanne.

Doug will be missed by his wife Roxanne, his daughter Megan ( Tom) Burns; grandchildren Micah, Noah, Stella. Shiloh, and Eliza.

He was preceded in death by his parents William & Verna; sister Kathy Johnson.

Visitation 10-11 AM with 11 AM Memorial Service Tuesday April 29 at O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson. Inurnment Willow River Cemetery.
