Duwayne Neil Eldred

DuWayne Neil Eldred, age 82, of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the River Falls Area Hospital, in River Falls, WI. He was a Christmas baby born on December 25, 1935 in Grey Eagle, MN to Ernest and Marjorie (McColley) Eldred. On September 28, 1983 he was united in marriage to Rita Yanish in River Falls, WI.
DuWayne was a truck driver most of his life, with a majority of the time as an over-the-road driver. He enjoyed working on mechanical things and also enjoyed riding his three wheeled motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Kathleen.
DuWayne is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Rita Eldred; his children, Allen Eldred, Tammy Eldred, Donald (Jenny) Eldred, Lori (Lyle) Kumm; grandchildren, Stephen Johnson, Ronald Eldred, Keith Eldred, Nicholas Eldred, Alicia Eldred, Taylor Eldred, Breanna Eldred; a brother, Steve Eldred.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 211 E. Division St., River Falls, with Father Jerry Harris officiating. Family and Friends may gather one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment will take place in St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery.
