Edith Zillmer

Edith Zillmer age 87 of Hudson passed away after a lengthy illness on September 22, 2025.

She was born February 23, 1938 in Clam Falls, WI to Albert and Anna (Kankova) Stoklasa. Edith grew up in Clam Falls. She went to grade school at Rocky Ridge Grade School, and attended Frederic High School.

On October 26, 1957 she and Elwin “Shorty” Zillmer were married. They made their home in Hudson, and later made their retirement home in Frederic, WI.

Edith was a talented artist, seamstress, and avid gardener, but what she enjoyed most were visits from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents, a sister; and two brothers amongst other relatives.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Lori (Steve) Sperry; son Lon (Colleen) Zillmer; grandchildren Taylor (Nate) Fettig, Sarah (Joe) Gruber, Jessica Zillmer, & Jake (Chloe) Zillmer; great-grandchildren Jack, Addisyn, Olivia, Wyatt, Sophia, & Ayden.

Per Edith’s request no services will be held.

Because of her love for animals, Edith would like memorials to go to a Humane Society of your choice.
