Edna Mae Helmer

Edna Mae Helmer, age 81, passed away peacefully, Sunday May 16, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in River Falls, WI.
Edna was born September 22, 1934 in Maiden Rock, WI to Charlie and Bertha (McCrae) Hague. She later met Darold Helmer and they married on July 6, 1964. She is survived by children: Karen (Leo) Swanson, Ronnie (Tracy) Linder, Rita (Ken) Hinz, Debbie Linder, Paul (Dawn) Linder, Darold (Deana) Helmer, 16 grandchildren: Christopher, Rachel, Mitch, Amanda, Katie, Adam, Alisa, Courtney, Justin, Amy, Vanessa, Nicole, and Shawn,Cassandra, Heather, Mariah and 12 great-grandchildren, and one brother Russ Hague.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Bertha, husband Darold Helmer, granddaughter, Terry Lee, 3 brothers, Gordie, Jerry, Earl, and 2 sisters Grace Hague, and Bernice Funk.

Funeral service for Edna will be 11:30 Friday, May 20, 2016 at Joy Lutheran Church, Prescott, Wisconsin. Visitation will be 10:00- 11:30 the same day prior to the service at the Church. Private family burial will be in Pine Glen Cemetery at a later date.
